New Features:

  1. We have updated the core engine which handles the workflow states & actions execution - this change results in a significant performance boost for workflows. Users can expect a 75% increase in response time.
  2. AI JQ - JQ can be very time consuming but AI to rescue. Describe what you want to extract and our AI will write the JQ for you.

  1. Workflow History: Users can now view the steps taken during workflow design. This will improve traceability and allow users to better understand the history of their workflows. However, note that this feature does not yet have persistence in its initial phase.

UI/UX improvement:

  1. Secrets screen - The ability to see secret values has been removed, though you can still update them. This change enhances security by limiting visibility of sensitive data.
  2. Workflow screen - The “Back/Previous” button positions have been relocated to the bottom of the screen, near UI controls, making it easier to navigate through the interface.
  3. Forward/Backward Buttons in the workflow designer: You can now easily navigate between changes that has been done during the workflow design
  4. Node Editing - The pen button, previously used for editing step nodes, has been removed. Now, to edit step nodes, you simply need to click on them. This change simplifies the editing process.
  5. Quick Action Shortcut - A new feature enables users to play an action simply by hovering over a node, without needing to edit it and click the play button. This enhancement should speed up user workflow.

Future Updates (Spoilers):

  1. Enhanced Action Stores Deployment Process: Look forward to an asynchronous deployment process in future releases for better scalability and flexibility. You’ll also be able to check deployment statuses.
  2. Support for OCI registries using username/password authentication for action stores deployment
  3. Enhancement to Natural Language Understanding: We’re working on improving our natural language understanding capabilities
  4. Approvers Assignment from Web UI/DSL: Soon, assigning approvers for an action will be possible directly from the web interface or DSL
